GLP1 or Camino?

12 miles, 1K of vertical feet, and pretty much a 15 mph headwind the entire day.  I am a bit off the Camino for the pleasure of staying in a really neat hotel in the middle of nowhere.  There might be 20 people in this town.  I’ll have to backtrack tomorrow which is a driving factor for why tomorrow will be a long one.  This is the price you pay for being bougie.

My friend Johanna wants an update on what I am eating and I’ll do it before to long, but I need to take some pictures so you can have a bit of a reference.  In the meantime, lets talk about the weight I have lost.  This was a discussion when I was in Boise by a couple of people asking me how much I am planning on losing.  Naively, I said I am not planning on losing any weight.  I just thought that late night dinners and wine would be the great equalizer to the miles absorbed during the day.  Totally wrong.

I am fairly certain I have lost three inches in my waistline.  I feel like when I was a kid and I was trying to make my older brothers hand me downs work for me.  Some have suggested on the low end I will lose 12 pounds and on the high end 30 pounds.  If you’re looking for a great way to drop pounds, just spend half of your day walking with a pack.

Love Ryan
