2 Timothy 4:7

I have arrived and the Cathedral is jaw dropping amazing.  Difficult for me to explain but it is somewhere along the magnitude of if you took all of the churches in all of the cities I traveled along and put them together you would have something close to the Cathedral de Santiago de Compostela.

Today’s journey was stoic in a way knowing that it would be the last and after I arrived I just had a sense of, ‘ah, well its done so lets take a picture, get a shower, and find a bar that serves good gin’.

I’ll spend tomorrow touring around and then another day in Madrid before I come back home.  Thank you for following my journey and giving me the needed encouragement to share my thoughts.  It helped me be more present which is a wonderful gift.  Friends, life is hard on its best days, impossible on its worst days.  I love you and thank you for making this experience meaningful for me.

Love Ryan

    Ryan,
You are a strong guy and your successful completion of this epic walk just adds to your reputation. I could tell from your reflective posts that this adventure is paying a positive role in your healing.
That’s all good but now more important, did you find some excellent gin?

    Ryan,
My friend you’ve accomplished much. Yet it’s also a milestone of so many more to come for you. Most are likely to be ones you can’t even imagine today. This is one of the truly great aspects of life. And as we all know ( and you and I know far too well), there’ll be speed bumps and worse. It’s resolve to charge on, no matter the depth and breadth of the chasm. You’ve proven your resolve every day, one step at a time, always forward. You honor Jess always and your feeding your sole.
So celebrate this latest milestone. I look forward to toasting along with you sometime soon. Meanwhile, safe travels and may God continue to be with you. Blessings always,
    Kurt & Bert Kleinow
PS We must play the silly game chasing a white ball around.
